Why Get Involved?
Volunteering is a great way to share your knowledge with others and enrich your community. Keeping the museum free to visit means we can share the story of how Victorian engineering transformed public health — and inspire the next generation of engineers.
Museum Volunteers
You'll be helping with all aspects of the museum — working in the shop, welcoming visitors, and helping to run kids' activities.
Engineering Volunteers
You'll be maintaining and running our 1888 Steam Powered Beam Engine and sharing your enthusiasm for engineering with visitors.
