How to Get to Markfield Park

By Public Transport

Nearest Stations:

  • South Tottenham | Overground | 10 mins walk
  • Seven Sisters | Overground & Victoria Line | 15 mins walk
  • Tottenham Hale | Overground & Victoria Line | 20 mins walk (along the River Lee)

The 318 stops within 5 minutes' walk of Markfield Beam Engine & Museum on Grovelands Road and goes to South Tottenham and Seven Sisters stations. There are many other buses that serve Tottenham.

By Foot or Bicycle

The museum is located in Markfield Park on the Lee Towpath between Stonebridge Lock and Springfield Marina. This is a traffic-free public footpath and cycle path.

To the north the path continues to Waltham Abbey, Cheshunt, Hertford and Bishop Stortford. To the south we are in easy reach of Hackney, The Olympic Park, and Limehouse.

By Car

Markfield Road is a turning immediately off Broad Lane, which links the A10 (running north through Tottenham to Enfield) and the A503 (running east through Walthamstow). The A10 can be accessed at Junction 25 of the M25.

There is limited parking in Markfield Park. If you're using a Sat Nav enter the post code N15 4QF. Bridge clearance is 2.3m. Car park access hours are 9am–6pm.
